Your coding agents, in your pocket.
Shed connects your phone to the Claude Code, Codex, Gemini, OpenCode and Pi sessions on your Mac. Send a message from anywhere. It runs in a real Terminal window on the Mac, where you can watch it work and approve its next step.
What Shed is, in 80 seconds.
Walk away from your desk. Keep shipping.
Shed runs on your Mac and puts a secure link on your phone. Nothing about your agents changes: they keep running in the terminals you already use.
Scan the code
Shed shows a QR code on your Mac. Scan it, sign in with your Shed password, and add it to your home screen.
Just message
Type what you need. Pick an agent, or leave it on Auto and let Laya choose the harness and model.
It runs in a real terminal
The message lands in the Terminal tab that already holds the session, or a new window resumes it. Same model, same context.
Watch and approve
See the live terminal on your phone. When an agent asks permission, tap 1, 2 or 3. Tap Stop to interrupt.
Every live session is a little agent.
Each harness has its own pixel character. You can tell what all of them are doing before you read a word.
The agent is working. Open it to watch its terminal live.
The turn is done and the agent is sipping coffee until your next message.
A permission prompt is waiting. Shed reads it from the terminal and moves the agent to the front.
Built for agents that run for hours.
The same terminal, not a copy
Follow-ups are typed into the Terminal tab that holds the session, so you see the exact screen when you get back to your Mac.
Local routing with Laya
An open-source decision model on your Mac picks the harness and model. It must be at least 60% sure before it moves a conversation to a different agent.
Approve from your phone
Stop, switch permission mode, or answer a prompt with one tap. With normal permissions, nothing runs without your OK.
Replies survive restarts
Claude and Codex run in Terminal windows, and Shed tracks their transcripts. A restart of Shed never cuts a reply short.
Types only into the agent
Shed checks that the agent is still the foreground program before it types and again before it presses Return. A message never runs as a shell command.
Yours, on your Mac
A password-protected link through your own tunnel. Sessions, transcripts and routing stay on your Mac; only the agents talk to their model providers.
A small server between your phone and your terminals.

Is Shed an app I install from the App Store?
No. It is a web app served by your Mac. Scan the QR code, sign in, and add it to your home screen; it opens full screen with the Shed icon.
Does my code leave my Mac?
Shed itself keeps everything on your Mac: sessions, transcripts and routing. Your agents still send prompts to their own model providers, exactly as they do when you use them at your desk.
What happens when an agent asks for permission?
Its pixel agent switches to "Needs your OK" and moves to the front. Open the Terminal tab and tap 1, 2 or 3, the same answer you would type at the Mac.
Can Shed start new sessions, or only continue old ones?
Both. Send a message with no session and Shed opens a new Terminal window for the harness Laya picks, in a project you choose.
What does Laya do?
Laya is an open-source decision model that runs locally. It picks the harness and model for new work, and decides whether a follow-up should stay in its session or move to a better-suited agent.
Does the Mac have to stay on?
Yes. The agents run on your Mac, so it needs to be awake and online. Shed starts automatically when you sign in.
